Phoenix Enterprise Centre delivers a free, confidential and independent Advice and Guidance service offering Digital Access, Advice, Food and Support available to all Copeland residents who are currently unemployed, at risk of redundancy, or claiming working-age benefits. The service aims to assist clients in securing a better financial situation for themselves and their families through our grant-funded DAAFS project aimed to give Copeland residents without an internet connection or digital abilities the opportunity to access online job search, check for benefit support and update their online information. We have established three IT Outreach Centres in Cleator Moor, Whitehaven and Millom. Every week our team are present at scheduled hours at each centre and works with partner organisations to provide the support needed by tour clients.
Our services operate from three IT computer suites which are situated at;-
Harbour Youth Project, Whitehaven Town Centre
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday – 9:30 am – 1:00 pm
Phoenix Enterprise Centre, Cleator Moor
Tuesday – Thursday – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Millom Community Hub, Millom
Friday – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
We offer free and confidential help with;-
The Advice & Guidance team also offer Food delivery to clients who are struggling to afford shopping for themselves and their families. If you are claiming benefits, waiting for benefit payments, have been made redundant, trying to cope with debt or working on a low income you could be eligible for a FREE food delivery.
